David's 2023 - 2024 Calendar

A listing of conducting performances, workshop appearances, composer residencies and new work premieres. 


This year David is a Jemison Visiting Professor in the Humanities at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Composer-in-Residence for Ravinia Sings! (Highland Park, IL), and is the clinician/conductor for the National High School Choral Festival in Orlando, where he is honored by the University of Central Florida. As Artistic Director & Conductor of the Grand Prairie Singers, he’ll conduct concerts in Chicago’s Southland in December, April and June, and will adjudicate choirs festivals in Chicago and at the Smoky Mountain Music Festival in Tennessee.  He’ll attend the Illinois state and regional ACDA conferences in Omaha and Louisville, and the HarbourVOICES festival in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
